Communications amp; Social Media ManagerOrganization: Act For America Location: Virginia Beach, VAEmployment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Executive Director Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced, result driven Communications amp; Social Media, growth and revenue generation Manager to scale audience engagement, expand platforms, and drive sustainable revenue streams. This role sits at the intersection of editorial judgment, platform fluency, and cultural awareness. You should be fast, sharp and politically literate. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a manager who can build influential media relationships, craft compelling narrative, respond quickly to emerging conversations, and position Act For America and Brigitte Gabriel as a trusted and leading voice on the most urgent cultural and national security topics of the day.Job Duties: Create original content for our social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok as needed)Write and build organizational email campaigns including newsletters, action alerts, and supporter emails.Ensure that there are, at minimum, 3-4 quality posts going out on each platform every day. During especially heavier news cycles, that number increasesCreate original social-first content, including graphics, short-form video, captions, and quote cardsIdentify and pursue revenue opportunities (monetization tactics, collabs, paid promotions, funnels).Translate news and opinion pieces into compelling digital formatsIdentify news moments and cultural trends worth jumping on—and know when not toMaintain consistency with brand voice, tone, and editorial standardsTrack KPIs (growth, engagement, conversion to revenue) and report monthly with actionable insights.Contribute ideas for new formats, series, and platform-specific strategiesWork with our website vendor to keep sites up to date and aligned with organizational needs.Support creative development of materials such as brochures, mailers, and promotional content.Oversee cross-channel communications and message development for internal, external, and ACT audiences, while positioning ACT and Brigitte Gabriel as an influential voice in national conversations on freedom, national security and current events.
